We design and develop our product with a high level of security in mind. You can rest assured that any data we store remains safe and confidential.
CliClap allows Users to easily engage with their website Visitors, providing an exceptional experience that drives higher engagement and conversion rates.
By default, our technology can work without saving any personal data, meeting the requirements of the GDPR and other privacy regulations. Our Users have the flexibility to select if they wish to save personal data of their website Visitors and which type of data (such as IP addresses and marketing forms data).
When a user signs up to the CliClap Services, we store the data provided through the signup form, such as their name, email address and their website. For paying Users, we also store personal data, such as payment information. It is each User’s voluntary decision whether to provide us with any such personal data, but refusal to provide any required data may result in us not being able to register the User and enable them to use our Services.
All personal data is saved on CliClap’s servers hosted on Microsoft Azure and payments related data is stored also on Bluesnap.
Users’ Visitors data
By default, CliClap only collects non-identifiable information about our Users’ Visitors. CliClap stores the following types of information for the Visitors who visit the User’s website:
CliClap is hosted on Microsoft Azure servers, industry-leading, high-security servers in the United States of America, and in other jurisdictions as necessary for the proper delivery of our Services and/or as may be required by law. For further information, please visit the following link West US and West US 2 data centers.
CliClap service providers that store or process your Personal Information on CliClap’s behalf are each contractually committed to keep it protected and secured, in accordance with industry standards and regardless of any lesser legal requirements which may apply in their jurisdiction.
Our code is stored in a GitHub system. CliClap employs strict role-based security/passwords for access to the code. These are only valid when used from specific IPs. User/Password or SSH Key-Based authentication is used for server access. Commits to production code are strictly reviewed and approval is dependent on passing Unit Testing and QA in Test and Staging environments. There is a daily backup of the database data in Microsoft Azure Web Services infrastructure in the USA.
Users are always connected to the CliClap web-app via HTTPS using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a cryptographic protocol that is designed to protect against eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.
